TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Yumy Cafe Braintree! We’re delighted you’ve chosen to visit us — whether you’re dining in, ordering a takeaway, or enjoying our food at home through delivery. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to the following terms, which are here to make sure everything runs smoothly for both you and us.

Yumy Cafe Braintree is a local, independent cafe based in Braintree, Essex. You can place orders with us for dine-in, takeaway, or delivery through our website. Please note that online orders can only be made for takeaway or eating in — not for delivery, unless otherwise specified. When placing a takeaway order, please make sure to write “TAKEAWAY” in the order notes. For dine-in orders, please include your table number when you order. If your order is for takeaway and you don’t have a table number, please use “T1” as your table reference.

All orders are confirmed once payment has been received and you receive a confirmation message from us. All prices on our website include VAT where applicable. We do our best to keep everything up to date, but prices may change from time to time. Don’t worry — any price changes won’t affect orders that have already been confirmed. Payments are made securely through our website when you place your order.

If you’ve ordered for takeaway, please collect your food at the time shown on your confirmation message. For delivery, we’ll do our very best to get your order to you promptly, but please understand that times are estimates and can vary during busy periods, or because of traffic or weather. We’ll always keep you updated if there are any delays.

Once an order is confirmed, our team begins preparing it right away, so cancellations may not always be possible. If there’s ever a problem with your order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible — we’ll always do our best to put things right. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and are only issued if something wasn’t as described or didn’t meet our usual standards.

We take allergies and dietary needs seriously. Please make sure you read our Allergen & Dietary Advice below and let us know about any allergies or intolerances before you order — whether you’re dining in, collecting, or ordering online.

If you have any questions about these terms or about your order, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Contact us here.

ALLERGENS ADVICE

Your health and safety are really important to us here at Yumy Cafe Braintree. We want everyone to enjoy their meal with peace of mind. Our kitchen uses a wide range of ingredients, including common allergens such as nuts, peanuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, soya, sesame, celery, mustard, fish, and shellfish. While we take every care when preparing food, please be aware that we cannot guarantee that any of our dishes are completely free from allergens, as cross-contamination may occur.

If you have a food allergy or dietary requirement, please let us know before placing your order. When ordering online, it’s really important that you write your allergy or intolerance clearly in the Order Notes box so that our team can double-check your meal and make any necessary adjustments. Our staff are always happy to advise and help you find something suitable from our menu.

We display allergen details for each in the shop, but please note that ingredients and suppliers can sometimes change. For your safety, we always recommend confirming any allergen information directly with our team every time you order — just to be sure.

We’re committed to serving delicious food safely and responsibly, and we truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. For more information about food allergens and how to manage them, you can visit the Food Standards Agency website at www.food.gov.uk/allergy.
